DAC&FW, Ministry of Agriculture, GoI & MASHAV, Embassy of Israel has decided to expand the INDIA- ISRAEL collaboration towards INDO-ISRAEL Villages of Excellence with a vision to incorporate a large-scale and complete value chain approach based on the principles of Israeli novel technologies and methodologies dissemination of the CoE’s, tailored to local conditions. The IIVOE will be comprised of:

1.1         MODERN AGRICULTURE INFRUSTRUCTURE- pressurized water transportation from source to field, irrigation system enabling drip irrigation, Sensors, Precision agriculture solutions, meteorological stations, nurseries, Agro machinery, packinghouses, Cold-chain facilities, Transportation and other Agro-technologies.

1.2         CAPACITY BUILDING-  IIVOE Extension, Training of Trainers (TOT), Training of farmers, Generate cultivation protocols, Expertise & training on Agri technologies, Agro-Business training.

1.3         MARKET LINKAGE- Link between farmer-retailer, Farmers to market together, Digital platform, Direct marketing including digital marketing platforms.
